You can click on the screen to make money and then upgrade your business to passively earn more money. It is a great game with a bunch of things to upgrade. The game is developing in a satisfying way. You can also hire employees, attract investors, and make your business as profitable as possible. It’s a little less click and a little more lethargic, but other than that it’s a good experience. Of course, it is also repeated.

Bitcoin Billionaire was very popular when Bitcoin was big news. Thankfully, the lethargic mare is still fine. It works like most other games. You start small with a bunch of clicks and slowly move to the passive part with various upgrades. You are spending money on investments (promotions) and trying to get that number as high as possible. The game also features various achievements and rewards, and you can even adopt pets (or robots). Noodlecake Studios worked well with this, but there’s not much to talk about with this.

Clickpocalypse II has less accurate graphics, but it is one of the best idle clicker games we played during our testing. Players create a group of heroes to explore all the different dungeons and kill many, many villains. You can also find items, upgrade your abilities, and earn various achievements. Of course, your characters can learn a range of abilities as well. You attack the dungeons and everyone has a chance of loot. The graphics won’t win any prizes, but the gameplay is a little more complex than most clicker games. This one is completely free with ads. We wanted a way to remove these ads, but other than that it is a great game for those who can’t afford the freemium template.

Cookies give you the money that you use to upgrade your business to create more cookies and, therefore, more money. This also comes with social elements so you can play with friends, offline support, and there is also an auto click function as a special ability. It ran into some issues on the day of release and Google Play’s rating hasn’t recovered at the time of writing. However, aside from being somewhat short, it is a decent participant in the idle games category.

Idle Mafia is another newer idle game with some solid mechanics. Your own crime gang starts and the game includes multiple tracks to the top of the underworld. You can do things like get a protection feed or fight in the streets. There are many companies that generate passive income so you are always getting stronger. We like this because the developers have added more things in the updates and we hope they continue this pattern to keep the game fresh for players. Some people have a few bugs here and there but it’s pretty good otherwise.

Idle Miner Tycoon has more Google Play reviews than any other game on this list. It is a fairly standard idle game. You start with nothing, tap for a while, upgrade your stuff, and win loads of stuff while idle. Players can assign managers to transport things and explore more than 20 mines, and you can mine more than 15 different resources, each of which has its own value. The game supports offline play, has good graphics, simple controls, and we haven’t seen any unreasonable bugs. It’s a freemium game, but that’s typical for the genre. We can see why this game is one of the most popular idle clicker games out there.

Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen is an idle game with some light RPG and gacha mechanics. The base playing loop is set to idle. You have a group of heroes who are constantly fighting the bad guys to generate resources. You can upgrade your heroes and change their gear and chain orbs to make them deal more damage. The upgrade path gets more difficult later on without real money, but it can be executed with a little patience. This is a great game for people who want to switch away from the billionaire-style idle game in favor of something a little different.
