You can literally participate in Star Wars content for years and never repeat anything. As such, you would expect a lot of great apps for that, right? Well, there are definitely some good things to help your Star Wars experience further. Here are the best Star Wars apps for Android.

Disney + is easily among the best Star Wars apps for Star Wars fans. It contains all the movies, The Mandalorian TV, The Clone Wars, and a host of other independent movies and shows. All these movies and shows have been pulled from other streaming media and placed in Disney +. Hence, those who want to watch movies should definitely start here. The app is easy to use enough, includes Chromecast support, and you can even sync the movie with someone else watching it so you can watch it together from different TVs. The service runs for $ 6.99 a month or $ 69.99 a year. The Hulu, ESPN +, and Disney + bundle for $ 12.99 a month is the best deal if you want something other than Star Wars as well.

Facer is a watch face app for Wear OS and Apple WatchOS and Samsung smartwatch platform. Allows you to find custom watch faces to decorate your smart watch home screen. There are far too many Star Wars options for all 3 major platforms. Here is a quick list of just a few options if you want to see them for yourself. It is relatively easy to use. Simply install the app on your phone and then follow the instructions for any platform you want. It’s a small thing, but having Vader on your wrist all the time is fun.
Fandom by Wikia
Fandom by Wikia is one of the best sources of information for Star Wars fans or fans of anything, really. You can find information about the various characters, settings, story arcs, and almost all of the canon elements in the series. The app is very basic and works well in our tests. Just search for the topic you want and the app displays the articles for you. You can access this information from your web browser as well if you don’t want to deal with the app directly.
HoloCanon is a type of wildcard on this list. It contains nearly every movie, show, and novel in the Star Wars universe. You simply run and check out the things you encountered. Now you know what is left for you to find and engage with. It even includes Star Wars Battlefront II and Jedi: Fallen Order, two of the most popular video games in the Canon world. It’s a simple app with a simple premise, but we hope the developer will add the ability to at least sync between devices (maybe via Google Drive backup) in the future. The developer also has a Discord channel if you want to make suggestions or talk about the app.
Jedi Lightsaber Simulator
Everyone loves a good Jedi Lightsaber Simulator. This is as good as any other one. You can create your own mini lightsaber and change the color if you wish. This is not an overly functional app, but fun for a few minutes at a time and great for kids. Disney has the Jedi Challenges app (Google Play link). It allows you to interact with the Star Wars universe with augmented reality. However, the Disney app hasn’t seen an update since 2019, so we’re not sure if it’s abandoned or not.

Movies Anywhere is an excellent app for watching Star Wars movies. You can buy movies on any of a number of services and watch them using this application. Supported servers include Google TV, Amazon Prime, Microsoft Movies & TV, Vudu, and Apple TV. This is a good route for people who don’t want a monthly subscription like Disney + but still want to watch movies whenever they want. The app also comes with the ability to download movies for offline playback and simultaneous sharing of viewing with up to nine other people.

Reddit is an excellent place to stay up-to-date with the latest Star Wars fans. There are several fan-base sub-forums, including the flagship Star Wars subreddit, the subreddit of leaks about Star Wars, and even a subsite dedicated to The Mandalorian (among other features). This is a good place to hang out and enjoy the community. For the players among us, Star Wars subreddits help with strategies and secrets as well. Some Reddit users are terrible, but the site itself is good for that kind of thing. We have the main Reddit app linked but you can choose from a variety of excellent third-party Reddit apps here as well.
Let’s face the facts, I always wanted to do script crawl at the start of Star Wars but with something I wrote down. This app allows you to do just that. Simply open the app, enter all the details, choose your scroll direction, and then let it ride. There is also an option to save the video so you can share it on social media or use it for whatever you want. Obviously, this app has no function, but sometimes the apps don’t need a function. It can be fun to use.
Star Wars Official
The official Star Wars app is a clear recommendation for a list like this one. It’s straight from Disney and has all kinds of news, experiences, and other media to explore and interact with. You can design the app with light side, dark side, droid interface, play podcasts, watch official videos and movie clips, and get official Star Wars news directly from the source. There is also a 5-day weather function if you want to use it. There is a lot here and all of them are mostly useful for Star Wars fans.

Zedge is easily the best ringtones and wallpaper combo app on mobile. It has tons of ringtones, notification tones, notification tones, and wallpapers to choose from. Based on a quick search, it contains more than 18000 Star Wars wallpapers, over 5,800 ringtones and over 3,100 notification tones from a distant galaxy. Those numbers go up a whole bunch if you’re just looking for The Mandalorian. However, if there is a sound effect or song that you want your phone to play, this app probably contains it. The backgrounds could be better, but there are enough options to satisfy most people. The subscription is completely optional and removes the recognized hateful app ads.
