The app is easy to use enough, includes Chromecast support, and you can even sync the movie with someone else watching it so you can watch it together from different TVs. The service runs for $ 6.99 a month or $ 69.99 a year. The Hulu, ESPN +, and Disney + bundle for $ 12.99 a month is the best deal if you want something other than Star Wars as well.

HoloCanon is a type of wildcard on this list. It contains nearly every movie, show, and novel in the Star Wars universe. You simply run and check out the things you encountered. Now you know what is left for you to find and engage with. It even includes Star Wars Battlefront II and Jedi: Fallen Order, two of the most popular video games in the Canon world. It’s a simple app with a simple premise, but we hope the developer will add the ability to at least sync between devices (maybe via Google Drive backup) in the future. Everyone loves a good Jedi Lightsaber Simulator. This is as good as any other one. You can create your own mini lightsaber and change the color if you wish. This is not an overly functional app, but fun for a few minutes at a time and great for kids. Disney has the Jedi Challenges app (Google Play link). It allows you to interact with the Star Wars universe with augmented reality. However, the Disney app hasn’t seen an update since 2019, so we’re not sure if it’s abandoned or not.

Movies Anywhere is an excellent app for watching Star Wars movies. You can buy movies on any of a number of services and watch them using this application. Supported servers include Google TV, Amazon Prime, Microsoft Movies & TV, Vudu, and Apple TV. This is a good route for people who don’t want a monthly subscription like Disney + but still want to watch movies whenever they want. The app also comes with the ability to download movies for offline playback and simultaneous sharing of viewing with up to nine other people.

Reddit is an excellent place to stay up-to-date with the latest Star Wars fans. There are several fan-base sub-forums, including the flagship Star Wars subreddit, the subreddit of leaks about Star Wars, and even a subsite dedicated to The Mandalorian (among other features). This is a good place to hang out and enjoy the community. For the players among us, Star Wars subreddits help with strategies and secrets as well. Let’s face the facts, I always wanted to do script crawl at the start of Star Wars but with something I wrote down. This app allows you to do just that. Simply open the app, enter all the details, choose your scroll direction, and then let it ride. There is also an option to save the video so you can share it on social media or use it for whatever you want. Obviously, this app has no function, but sometimes the apps don’t need a function. It can be fun to use.

The official Star Wars app is a clear recommendation for a list like this one. It’s straight from Disney and has all kinds of news, experiences, and other media to explore and interact with. You can design the app with light side, dark side, droid interface, play podcasts, watch official videos and movie clips, and get official Star Wars news directly from the source. There is also a 5-day weather function if you want to use it. There is a lot here and all of them are mostly useful for Star Wars fans.
